KECK R. HARTMAN, MD
​Keck R. Hartman, MD received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City, KS.  He completed his Internship and Residency at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, MO.  He completed his Infectious Disease Fellowship at the University of New Mexico, Division of Infectious Disease, Albuquerque, NM.  He holds an academic appointment of Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita. Dr. Hartman is Board Certified in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine.   Dr. Hartman is a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America, the Society for Hospital Epidemiologists and the Wilderness Medicine Society.
MAHA A. ASSI, MD,MPH
​Maha A. Assi, MD, MPH received her medical degree and completed her internship at the American University of Beirut, Beirut, Lebanon.  She did her residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita, and also received her Masters in Public Health from the University of Kansas.  She completed her Infectious Disease Fellowship at the University of Kansas, Kansas City, KS.  She also completed a Fellowship in Transplant Infectious Disease at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN.  Dr. Assi holds an academic appointment of Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, Preventive Medicine and Public Health, at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita.  She also holds the appointment of Adjunct Clinical Preceptor for A.T. Still University, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and Clinical Associate Professor in Infectious Disease from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Assi is Board Certified in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine.
THOMAS A. MOORE, MD, FACP, FIDSA
​Thomas A. Moore, MD, FACP, FIDSA received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City, KS.  He completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals, Houston, TX.  He completed his Fellowship in Infectious Disease at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD.  Dr. Moore holds an academic appointment of Clinical Professor at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita.  Dr. Moore is Board Certified in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine.  He holds professional certification in the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and the International Society of Travel Medicine.  Dr. Moore is a Fellow in the Infectious Disease Society of America.  Dr. Moore holds the title of Lieutenant Commander, United States Public Health Service, Inactive Reserve.  In 2012, Dr. Moore was invited and participated in the 10th Meeting of the Presidential Committee on the Study of Bioethical Issues, Washington, D.C. Prior to rejoining IDC in 2012, Dr. Moore held the position of Chair, Department of Infectious Disease, Ochsner Medical Center, New Orleans, LA.
Shelley D. Jones, MD
​Dr. Shelley Jones joined IDC in September 2015.  Dr. Jones is Board Certified in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine.  She has been practicing in Lincoln, Nebraska for the past ten years and also served as Medical Director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee for Bryan Health.  Dr. Jones is a native of Kinsley, Kansas, a graduate of Kansas State University and the University of Kansas School of Medicine.  Dr. Jones completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and her Infectious Disease Fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.



HEWITT C. GOODPASTURE, MD, FACP 
​Hewitt C. Goodpasture, MD, FACP (Emeritus) is the founding physician of IDC.  Dr. Goodpasture received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City, KS. After completing residency at the University of Kansas in Kansas City, KS, he did his Infectious Disease Fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center.  He worked for the Centers for Disease Control as an epidemiologist for two years before joining the Department of Medicine faculty of the newly formed University of Kansas School of Medicine Wichita in 1975.  He was Director of Internal Medicine Education for St. Francis Hospital until 1979 when he entered private practice.  During his career he served terms as President of the Medical Staff for Via Christi Regional Medical Center and Wesley Medical Center, and President of the Medical Society of Sedgwick County. Most recently, he served as Vice President for Clinical Quality and Patient Safety and Chief Medical Officer.  He holds an academic appointment of Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita.  He is Board Certified in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a Fellow in the Society of Hospital Epidemiologists and a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America.  Dr. Goodpasture retired from Clinical practice in January 2013.
JERRY D. PETERIE, MD, FACP 
​Jerry D. Peterie, MD, President of Infectious Disease Consultants, P.A., received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City, KS.  He did his residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita, and also completed his Infectious Disease Fellowship at that facility.  He holds an academic appointment of Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita.  Dr. Peterie is Board Certified in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the Society of Hospital Epidemiologists.
MARGARET E. HAGAN, MD
​Margaret E. Hagan, MD received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City, KS.  She did her residency at the University of Kansas Affiliated Hospitals, Wichita, KS.  She completed her Infectious Disease Fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, KS.  She completed a General Medicine Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals.  Dr. Hagan is Board Certified in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine.  Prior to joining IDC, Dr. Hagan practiced in the Kansas City area and was Hospital Epidemiologist at the Medical Center of Independence, Independence Regional Medical Center and Liberty Hospital.
